Starting from Kaudiyala, located around 40 km upstream of Rishikesh, this expedition ends at Nim Beach (before Laxman Jhula). It is meant only for highly adventurous people, preferably with prior rafting experience, as the rapids here go up to Grade IV+. This is not a beginner-friendly stretch—it is long, intense, and physically demanding.

This stretch is considered the most challenging rafting expedition in Rishikesh. You will face continuous, powerful rapids like The Wall, Daniel’s Dip, Three Blind Mice, Crossfire, Black Money, and Roller Coaster. The famous Wall Rapid (Grade IV+) at Kaudiyala has flipped 80% of rafts attempting it, which is why prior rafting experience is strongly recommended.

Process:

  • Arrival at Rafting Office (Shivpuri): Guests must reach our office by their own conveyance. Parking space is available nearby.
  • Formalities & Transfer: After paperwork & safety briefing, our vehicle will take you to Kaudiyala (starting point), approx. 22 km ahead of Shivpuri.
  • Rafting Expedition: Rafting begins from Kaudiyala and continues through high-intensity rapids for nearly 5 hours.
  • End Point: The trip concludes at Nim Beach (Rishikesh). From there, our vehicle drops you back to Shivpuri office.

Eligibility for Kaudiyala Rafting

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 45–50 years (depending on health & stamina)
  • Weight Limit: 45 kg to 90 kg only
  • Fitness: Strong swimming skills or prior rafting experience is highly recommended
  • Medical Restrictions: Not allowed for heart patients, pregnant women, asthma patients, or those with recent surgeries.
  • Participants must not be under alcohol or drug influence.
