The Shivpuri to Rishikesh 15 Km Rafting Stretch is one of the most adventurous routes, loaded with Grade II to Grade III+ rapids. It starts with action right away and is slightly riskier than the Marine Drive (12 Km) stretch, giving more chances of flips, thrills, and high-energy splashes.

• Shivpuri Rapid (Grade II): The very first rapid after launching, offering quick splashes and excitement to kick off the trip.
• Return to Sender (Grade II): Continuous waves that warm you up for bigger rapids ahead.
• Roller Coaster (Grade III+): One of the most famous rapids in Rishikesh, with strong waves that can challenge even experienced rafters.
• Golf Course (Grade III): A long, technical rapid requiring teamwork and coordination.
• Double Trouble (Grade II+): True to its name, with two strong back-to-back waves that often surprise rafters.
• Club House (Grade II+): A fun rapid with playful waves, great for photos and safe fun.
• Initiation (Grade II): The warm-up rapid that sets the tone for the thrilling ride ahead.

Things to carry for Rafting:

• Clothing: Wear lightweight, quick-dry clothes. Avoid heavy fabrics like denim as they take long to dry and can be uncomfortable while rafting. A swimwear underneath is recommended for extra comfort.
• Footwear: Sleepers or sandals with straps are ideal. Avoid flip-flops, as they can slip off easily in the water.
• Extra Clothes: Carry a set of dry clothes for after the rafting session, including socks and a towel.
• Sun Protection: Sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap.
• Waterproof Essentials: Guests should not carry valuables themselves. Use a waterproof pouch for phones or cameras, but hand it over to the guide, who will keep it safe in a dry bag. We do not recommend carrying unnecessary items like jewelry or extra gadgets.
• Personal Items: A small bottle of water, and any necessary medicines (like motion sickness tablets) are recommended.

Avoid carrying heavy bags or unnecessary items as storage space on the raft is limited. Rafting operators provide safety gear such as helmets, life jackets, and paddles, so you don’t need to worry about those.
